Pure Terror
Aaargh I am so incredibly terrified. My Ps test is on Friday. If anyone has any hints, please e-mail me on tyrium@hotmail.com, or talk to me on msn. Lol. I am really very scared, especially about reverse parrallel parking. If I judge the 45 degrees right, everything is fine, but if I screw up sometimes I can't correct... Any hints welcome!

Stranded
I just read a wonderful poem by Natassja Linder.
STRANDED
In this world where magic dies Gods are dead and metal flies Where all can be explained by science Here I stand in blind defiance Of all they want me to believe Of all they think I should achieve Here, alone, where glory’s dead Where countless silent tears are shed Over earth that used to be Over all we cannot see Over all we’ll never find Here on earth the stars are blind And without mercy torment me And so I wish I could not see Could not remember what once was Why am I to suffer thus? Tell me now what crime is mine While ancient stars on me do shine For what am I punished so? From this place I long to go And roam again a world of wonder And look, behold, the full moon yonder, With the stars so shines tonight Oh, why am I to see the light With eyes that long ago did see Magic, pure and wild and free To be tamed by no mans hand To be encaged in no mans land When songs and tales still rang so true The time when I had faith in you And even now I hear your voice Telling me you had no choice But the day when I’ll be free You’ll still be watching over me.

Aargh Wilson *growls*
This is what Wilson wrote about me and her as describing how we came to write the "Chosen Two" story (which of course is not exactly happening but will one day...)
"Stephanie was born on April 12th in 1988. She lives with her mum, grandmother and younger bother, Harry Potter. When Stephanie was 12 she accidentally locked herself in the pantry in her kitchen and nobody found her for 24 hours. In the meantime she had consumed an entire weeks supply of dog food. I suppose thats why she is such a strange person really. Since the unfortunate incident she has found herself able to communicate with dogs, specifically her own poodles, Max and Charlie.Stephanie's fondness for writing stories did not develop until her later high school years when she befriended a very nice, shy, new student to the school, Katharine.Katharine was born on the 8th of October, 1987. She grew up with her mother, father, and ugly step-sister, Mitchelle. When she was five Katharine wandered down into her backyard and discovered the garden shed. It was a wonderous place for such a child, full of saws, hammers, and shovels. She has lived there ever since. At the end of year 10 Katharine's parents decided to send her to a different, very strict (as in they still used the cane), private school for troubled children. It was there she met Stephanie. On the first day of year 11 both girls got in trouble for wearing their barets being on a 40 degree angle instead of the registered 32 degree angle. It resulted in them having to stand outside their classroom for 50 minutes looking at the sky. Stephanie smuggled out some gum and offered it to Katharine. And the rest is the present... "

Alzso
I think I shall have my two majors in my Arts degree as Political Science and Genetics. Then I will go back and do graduate law. My minors will be philosophy, international relations and possibly american studies.
If I did politics and genetics and law, I could work in Science Policy Formation for the government in relation to DNA etc, or work as an intellectual property lawyer in the area of biotechnology.
DNA and genetics in general have always fascinated me, and I think my talent lies with law, so in doing this I would be combining my passion and my talent, and I think that would give me a satisfying career. Also, biotechnology is a rapidly expanding field, and intellectual property is regarded as the best field of law to go into.
I am truly excited about uni!

40th Post
So this is my 40th post. Not that I exactly post much at all. People keep telling me to update, but my life is so boring I can't really say all that much.
Well the acutal HSC certificate arrived today. For anybody who is interested there wers 179 Latin candidates and 95 Latin Extension candidates.
At the moment I am collecting quotes and putting them into the code Wilson gave me for a random quote generator. I am annoyed though because I really really want to put in a third coloum, so that the main body of the blog is in the middle, but I have absolutely no skill, so I can't do it. I will probably attempt to rope Wilson into helping me ...
Damn I am boring. bye now

Been a While...
Sorry, I know it has been a long time since I have posted a proper post, but meh, frankly I can't often be bothered.
Well, my life has been socially frantic recently - sleepover at wilson's on sat/sun, Ash's house on monday, and went to the city today.
I'm still really tired, must attempt to sleep. I installed Neverwinter Nights on my laptop, I'm gonna play it right through again. If anyone is interested I am playing a half-elven Ranger, and I think my animal companion is gonna be a panther. That probably means nothing to anyone reading this but meh.
Hmmn, what else can I write about? Maybe people want to know what I want to do next year. I want to do combined Law/Arts at ANU, and hopefully major in political science. We shall see.
I am very very excited about Uni, but terrified too... Everyone says it is a wonderful time, but I am very scared. Wilson is most likely coming down too, which is awesome, we're gonna have weekly coffee :). It's also good that Daniel will be there.
I'm gonna miss everyone though. We should try to have some sort of monthly gathering - comment if u have any ideas.
She of the blabbing mouth, signing off

ROFL
This was on Terry's blog - he got it from another blog but I don't know that one's address
Bushcronium: heaviest element known to science A major research institution has just announced the discovery of the heaviest element yet known to science.
The new element has been named "Bushcronium." Bushcronium has one neutron, 12 assistant neutrons, 75 deputy neutrons, and 224 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an Atomic mass of 311. These 311 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons.
Since Bushcronium has no electrons, it is inert. However, it can be detected, as it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact. A minute amount of Bushcronium causes one reaction to take over 4 days to complete when it would normally take less than a second. Bushcronium has a normal half-life of multiples of 4 years; it does not decay, but instead undergoes a reorganization in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places.
In fact, Bushcronium's mass will actually increase over time, since each reorganization will cause more morons to become neutrons, forming isodopes.
This characteristic of moron-promotion leads some scientists to believe that Bushcronium is formed whenever morons reach a certain quantity in concentration.
This hypothetical quantity is referred to as "Critical Morass." When catalyzed with money, Bushcronium activates Foxnewsium, an element which radiates orders of magnitude, more energy, albeit as incoherent noise, since it has 1/2 as many peons but twice as many morons.

New Years
So now it is 2006! Well this year I am off to Uni (will know what course on the 18th). I am typing this on my new laptop!!! :D:D:D!!! Wow it is so incredibly amazing.
This is a time for new beginnings, leaving behind the past to make way for the future and all that crap. Good God as I type this the temperature is at 40.7 celcius... oh yuck.
Well this year will certainly be different ...
