From a strictly mathematical viewpoint. From a strictly mathematical viewpoint: What Makes 100%? What does it mean to give MORE than 100%? Ever wonder about those people who say they are giving more than 100%? We have all been to those meetings where someone wants you to give over 100%. How about achieving 103%? What makes up 100% in life? Here's a little mathematical formula that might help you answer these questions: If: A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z is represented as: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26. Then: H-A-R-D-W-O-R- K 8+1+18+4+23+15+18+11 = 98% and K-N-O-W-L-E-D-G-E 11+14+15+23+12+5+4+7+5 = 96% But, A-T-T-I-T-U-D-E 1+20+20+9+20+21+4+5 = 100% And, B-U-L-L-S-H-I-T 2+21+12+12+19+8+9+20 = 103% AND, look how far ass kissing will take you. UAI
Well the UAI is out at last :S. I got 95.6. Hopefully that will be enough to get me into the course I wanted - last year the cutoff was 95, but they thought then that this year it might go up ...

HSC Results
Well the HSC results came out at 6:00am this morning, and a bleary-eyed me went to my phone and read them.
If anyone is interested, here they are:
eco - 88/100 eng - 88/100 legal - 89/100 maths - 87/100 latin - 93/100 latin extension 49/50
so, yeah. I wish legal was higher but meh nothing I can do. God I hope I get a good UAI.

Thankyou Terry
Terry is a great friend of mine, and he posted this on his blog. I read it and I just wanted to shake his hand. This is what he said.
Osama used to be my best friend.....
Me and Osama use to be great friends up to 2 years ago when my mother had a misunderstanding with his mother, and since then things have been kind of neutral. I used to be over at his house almost every weekend before that, we used to build alot of things, including models of helicopters and cards. He also loved to play counter strike, he would always go terrorist and ware the desert cammo. He took a lot of crap after september 11, everyone thought that it was his fault because his name was on the news. Even on my school bus people were insulting him, he didnt even look like anything they had on the news. After the fallout between our famillies he blocked me on MSN and i havents seen him since, but i talked to his father and brother today.
Hah, got you. At this point you must be worried, when an arab says he used to be best friends with Osama, you automatically think one of two things. Firstly that he is a sleeper terrorist getting ready to kill us all, or secondly (and the far more likely) his bullshitting just for kicks. I'll tell you this, ive know Osama since i was in the 4th grade and he lives in Baulkham Hills and went to Castle Hill High School. Its just that his last name isnt Bin Laden, its Abdul Nabi..... Hah, got you. Now why would i tell you this story. Everything i wrote in the former paragraph is true, i wrote it for two, wait actually three reasons. Firstly to prove a point about the irrationality and prejudice people have when it comes to arabs and this leads assumptions that are incorrect as well us at time insulting. Secondly i wrote it because i went to see Osama's father and brother today because they run a mobile shop in Castle Hill Mall, apparently my dad is getting a new phone and i would get it instead of him, cause he likes his old phone. In our family there is this cycle mobile phones have, first my dad gets the newest phone, then its passed on to my mother, then to me and then to my little brother. So whenever theres a new mobile the phones get pushed down the line. The final reason is i needed a catchy title to get all you people reading this now to actually read this. I know i should know better after doing 2U Advanced English, but what the heck its fun to do it anyway.
On a serious note in this post, while i am a supporter of the rights of Palestinian people and the need for a soverign Palestinian state, i hope that you understand that there is a difference between that and what Bin Laden and his fanatical buddies believe. I wish it to be known that i detest the actions of the few that tarnish the image of so many, i wish that people would understand that believing in palestinian rights is not believing in terrorism.
